Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

More than anything, I want to be able to keep competitively playing the sport that I have grown to love these past 6 years. It means so much to me, and I love to talk to other people and create friendships because of our passion for the sport.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

On the court, I try to lead my team through example. I have never been known to throw my racket, yell obscenities, or argue with coaches, and I hope my team mates look to me as a leader because of the way I chose to conduct myself. In school, I am on the senior committee of my French club, where we plan out the activities our club gets to do. I have also been known to take the leadership position for a group project if needed to make sure everything gets done.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

To be healthy and play the best I can, I make sure to drink water during the day before a match or practice to stay hydrated as well as eating healthy foods to keep my strong and on my game.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

Through my church, I have helped out at medical clinics where we help provide screenings and tests to people of my community. Along with this, I have also hosted a blood drive, and found the experience quite challenging but entirely rewarding.
