Personal Highlights

I used to compete for level 10 trampoline and tumbling were I won the national champion title as a level 7. Having a background in trampoline and gymnastics I have been able to easily adjust and transfer my skills from the matt to the pool.

Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

As a college athlete, I will get support from some of the most influential people in my life. Ill have people that will be able to help me with everything I'm going through from emotional slumps to academic goals. It is nice to have people who have my back.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I have demonstrated leadership in the pool by offering to coach my high school dive team when the school could not find anyone else to coach it. I have been a leader out of the pool by helping out my new co-workers when they get confused on what they're supposed to do, or where they are supposed to go. I help them find out what they're supposed to be doing and where they are supposed to be doing it.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

As a student-athlete, I pursue a healthy athletic performance by staying on top of my schoolwork and maintaining a healthy social life. However, if I have practice the next day I don't say out with my friends until 11 pm, I'll be at home and in my bed by 9 pm so that I can have the most productive the next day.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I am involved in my community by working two part-time jobs, I am a lifeguard at a local government pool in my area and an assistant at a culinary school. This is important to me because i like knowing that my community is safer and that I am part of the reason why.
