Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I want to be recruited to play sports in college because I want to continue playing the sport I love. Volleyball is my passion, and I want to reach the next level, and be alongside girls who have the same passion and desire for success as I do.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I have demonstrated leadership on the court by being the team captain. I took this role seriously, and not only led through executing the ball, but through the way I treated my teammates. I always strived to lead by example and be the most supportive and positive teammate I can be. Off the court, I am the same way. I lead my friends by example, and try to be a positive influence on them in the decisions that I make.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

As a student-athlete, I maintain a balance of sleeping, healthy eating, practicing and working out in the gym, as well as studying and staying on top of grades and homework. All of these things allow me to continue pursuing my dreams, and teach me great time management.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I serve my community most actively through my school. I am a dedicated member of Key Club, which is an organization built upon giving back to the community. We do at least 4 hours per month. I am also a member of National Honor Society, where we are able to volunteer for our community, run drives, and events. All of this is so important for me because growing up in the town of Camas has made me who I am today, and I want to give back to this community and make others smile.
