This year at Valencia High School we were Foothill League Champions for the second time in my two years of high school. I was the starting setter and this year we only ran a 5-1 offense. It was a bit different for me because I'm use to being a hitter as well, but setting is what the team needed. I averaged 9.38 assists per game and had a career high 63 assists in one match.
We went to the CIF SS Division 2 Quarterfinals.
This past fall 2016 I was a starting freshman setter/ opposite hitter for the varsity volleyball team at Valencia High School Vikings (#21) in Valencia, California. We were 2016 Foothill League Champions and made it to the second round in Division 1A of the CIF SS Girls Volleyball Tournament. I was selected to the CIF-Southern Section Foothill League 1st team for 2016 and 2nd Team All Santa Clarita Valley as a freshman
This year is my 7th club season and I am the starting setter/opposite for Legacy Volleyball Club 17 Elite (#12) in Valencia, California. Over the past two years I was selected to the 2015 USA Future Select A1 National Invitational Team Program and 2016 USA Select A2 National Invitational Team Program where my team made it to the semi finals round.
I believe I'm a good volleyball player and I want to pursue a dream of playing in a major Division 1 program. I also would like to receive a degree in dermatology.
On the court I try to lead by example and off the field I simply try to always do the right thing and encourage people to be positive.
I try to eat right and nourish my body. I also train hard and try to get plenty of sleep.
My mom works for Los Angeles Park and Recreation. I help her with the programming for typically underprivileged kids.
