Personal Highlights

Volleyball is my passion, but music is a close second. I play violin in the orchestra and play guitar. I also sing in the choir. Visit my vb page:

I have played other sports (softball--too slow; basketball; soccer; tennis-my grandma played Tennis for Penn State) but kept coming back to volleyball and now I play beach in the summer. I played MB for 3 years in club and played outside my first year Varsity (as a Freshman), now at A2 coach needed me at outside and right side. I'll try whatever my team needs.

Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I want to continue playing volleyball as long as I can. I think it would be amazing to represent my school on the volleyball team and have my teammates and friends in classes and travel with them. It is like combining club and varsity.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I try to keep my teammates energized and motivated.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

Nutrition is important to me. I try to eat healthy and not over eat junk food. I rest when I can and give it my all at practice and when we do strength and conditioning.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

My mother was Executive Director of a non profit foster care agency and I helped with all the fundraisers for 6 years. I serve the homeless and work in ways to improve society as opportunies come up. I think my family instilled the value to helping others.
