Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

Although I have only been diving for 4 years, I have found diving to be both rewarding and a motivation to continually improve myself in and out of the pool. I am hoping to continue my diving career into college and use that as a means of making new friends with similar interests and for helping me to pay for my college tuition.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

While diving for summer club, I have helped many of the younger divers by showing them proper technique and by giving them a older diver that they can ask questions to.

I have participated as a BETA lead for freshman orientation to give incoming freshman a tour of the high school, ensure they know where to go for their classes and be a student point of contact for them to ask questions they may not feel comfortable asking a teacher.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I enjoy competing and continually pushing myself to get better. This includes not only practicing 6 days a week, but working out and following a healthy diet.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I volunteer at Caresprings Nursing Home in Fort Thomas KY. This is important to me because my great grandmother lived there for the last 2 years of her life and I visited her each week. During my visits with her I saw many residents who did not have visitors on a regular basis and I enjoyed talking to them and spending time doing things for them such painting their nails or helping them to to play bingo.
