Personal Highlights

I am a strong athlete who has played multiple sports in my career. I gave up Varsity soccer this year ( junior year) to focus on Diving. I also play varsity Lacrosse. I am a junior and involve in multiple clubs and organizations.

Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I have always played sports and it helps me mentally and physically. I do not like sitting around I am always on the move and up through my freshman year was participating in 2 sports per season. It also helps me with time management. I know that college will be a challenge, however I feel I am more than prepared. Avon High School is one of the top school district in the state and CT schools are top in the country. Academically I am prepared and physically I am prepared to compete in a varsity sport.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

Varsity Captain of 2016-17 Swim/Dive Team, Captain Freshman lacrosse team, Captain Junior Varsity Lacrosse team sophomore year, Captain Junior Varsity Soccer team sophomore year. Lead the team with drills, motivated teammates and my strong positive attitude help gain respect from my teammates which has led a cohesive bonding of the teams I have led to date.
Freshman orientation group leader taking charge and creating a welcoming environment for the incoming freshman class for open question environment.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I stretch, workout and focus on eating healthy. I eat frequent small meals with many fruits and vegetables. I drink a lot of water and try to stay away from soda.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

Events, clubs, and groups that I have been apart of include: Relay for Life, serve food at Immaculate Conception homeless shelter, sing in Life Teen Choir at St Ann's church in Avon, CT. , Unified sports (combines an equal number individuals with and without intellectual disabilities to play sports), Future Business Leaders of America, Acapella Singing group, Avon High School -freshman orientation volunteered both sophomore and junior years. I enjoy people and especially those not as fortunate as myself. I am involved with our church as well as our town. I have enjoyed the relationships I have developed and the respect I have gained from both my peers and their parents.
