Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I love sports. It's helped my self esteem. I love being a part of a team. And I want to play college sports as I believe it will help me with personal growth and provide me with a new sense of pride. And I want to be a good example for my younger brother and make my mother proud.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I have canvassed and participated in voter registration drives for several years. I have gotten my peers to get involved too.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I stay hydrated. I watch what I eat. I continue to stay active and exercise outside of regular practice.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I have volunteered at the local food bank and homeless shelters. Nutrition is extremely important and no one should go hungry. Yet, I go to school with other children that get most of their meals at school. That bothers me.
