Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?
-
Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.
-
Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

Diet and exercise are key components to any athlete's performance because of the amount of energy it takes to compete. In order to stay at peak performance in athletic events proper nutrition to build and replace energy for muscles to preform properly is always necessary. Being a celiac, it is even more important that I maintain an proper diet. I am always looking to get better and nutrition is only one key component.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I am active at Pagosa Bible Church youth group as well as organizations in my school like Student Council. I am the second son of five boys in my family. Since we have southern roots and it is important that my brothers and I develop those qualities of gentlemen with character and integrity. We can often be found on the weekends, shoveling snow or mowing grass for elderly neighbors. I stay active on the family hunting lease in Louisiana with many chores my dad deems necessary.
