Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I truly love playing volleyball and basketball. I cannot imagine life without workouts, practice, teammates, and the competition. Oh,how I enjoy the competition!

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I try leading my teams by remaining calm on the court. If I lose it,they will lose it. I am the student that subs come to for help. I enjoy helping others and I don't feel a need to be recognized for it. I try my best to lead by teaching someone quietly ,off to the side, and showing not just telling.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I work out year round at a local " muscle gym" with my (crossfit competitor/ personal trainer)brother . Getting up at 5 am and heading to the gym is hard, but I never regret it!

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I volunteer at the local Women's resource center during summers. I also volunteer at the Council on Aging helping with Meals on Wheels program. I enjoy both of these jobs, very much.
