Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I LOVE soccer! I have loved soccer since I was 5 and still feel passionate about playing this sport. I want to continue to be pushed at a higher level, and interact with teammates and coaches who aspire to play and participate at the level that I do. Playing and performing at a higher level, gives me more confidence than anything, and being around a supportive team and staff makes the experience worth battling through pre-season and the stress of tryouts.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

Named Varsity Captain sophomore and junior years ~ I have helped put together team events and team bonding, provide important information to the team and make sure that I am available to all underclassmen who may need a little more attention being on a varsity team with older girls.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I do not participate in any illegal substance usage. In addition, I maintain training with my high school, club team, private goalkeeper coach and personal sports performance trainer both in season (recovery sessions) and out of season, strength and conditioning. I feel that I am effective at knowing my body and can evaluate when I need to take a step back and rest to prevent injury.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.
