I believe that college sports are a integral part of a balanced and healthy experience for all college attendees. College can be stressful for many students, and athletics can provide a way to enjoy yourself and let some steam off at a competitive level.
I am a member of the Boy Scouts of America and was the Senior Patrol leader for my troop of 45 scouts. I planned camps and meetings as well as met with adult leadership to better to overall experience for the scouts.
I have daily practice drills to improve my skill set along with a stretching regimen to improve flexibility and rotation. I believe the best way to practice is to play, and I try to get on the course as often as possible to improve my game.
I volunteer within my community at a food bank several times a year. I also ring the salvation army bell during the winter and am a tutor for Algebra 1 students at my High School. I feel that it is important to give back to my community because many people have helped me get to where I am today and I feel I should do the same for others.
