Personal Highlights

Hi!
I'm an outside / opposite / setter, I'm 6'5" with a 36 inch vertical.
I've been playing volleyball for 3 years now and ive played every position. I've gained enough experience to be able to play a smart hard hitting and great passing game of volleyball under the highest amounts of pressure.

Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I would love to be recruited to play at the collegiate level because it's what we do that makes us who we are, and above all I am a student and an athlete. Having volleyball in my life keeps me balanced. It not only serves as a source of stress relief but every time I play it it makes my day even brighter than it already was. I am ready to play at the next level and college can take me there.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

On the court I captain my team, and in the rigorous mind game that is volleyball, It's up to me to keep all my teammates focused and having fun because in the end that's why we play volleyball. Off the court I am a social symbol, which is not an achievement by any stretch. Because of this friendly role I have taken on, its up to me to care for my friends and help them make life decisions.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I pursue "healthy athletic performance" by keeping myself well rested to seize the day, well fed, and in shape.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I'm a member of Boys Team Charity (BTC), I service my community for at least 15 hours per year, which doesn't seem like much until school work is tossed into the mix. BTC is really important to me because I feel that I am one of very few people that are lucky enough to have grown up in a wealthy, supporting community and I feel it is my duty to give back as much as I can to those who aren't so lucky.
