Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I want to be recruited to play sports in college because I want the opportunity to represent a collage in the pool and also to receive higher level coaching and training in order to see how fast I am able to become.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

In the pool I serve as a leader for my lane. During hard sets often times I try to encourage my team mates to keep going and I try to keep the lane focused. On dry lands I have led in group projects at school, a group of children at daily vacation bible school and a group while teaching swim lessons.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

Healthy athletic performance to me means looking after my body and brain to make sure I am able to compete to my fullest potential. I monitor what I eat and when I eat to make sure that I can provide the correct fuel for my body to be able to preform well at practice and in meets. Mentally I have to be able to wind down and relax away from swim while staying mental tough to be able to push myself in the pool during practices.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I have done many services in my community by working and volunteering in it. I work for the city and the school district to lifeguard for recreational pools in my community. I also volunteer for my community by helping my church provide summer care for children through daily vacation bible school and helping at various children's sporting events.
