Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I believe that tennis is a sport that I want to play until I can't any longer. I enjoy facing new and challenging competition and believe that college competition would fit that perfectly.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

Off the court I am in a local Jewish youth group called BBYO and on board. I help out my chapter and have lead our chapter in planning numerous fundraisers and events. On the court I always try to set an example for my teammates and other players by always high fiving my teammate, encouraging them whether it be a good or bad shot, and giving them pep talks when they need them.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

There has to be a balance between school and tennis. I make sure to study and only study the night before a test once I get home from my practice or my match. This keeps my grades up in school and I do not have to worry about them that much. This leaves time for me to work on my game and become an even better tennis player.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I currently coach tennis to children at the local academy. I also have spent time volunteering with animals at local ASPCA shelters.
