Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I want to be recruited because it's always been my dream. But not only because of that. My family has recently gone through money problems and I don't want them to worry about paying about college. My parents are very hard working and I'm trying to follow in their footsteps. Also football is my passion and I would love to play it for as long as I can. Being recruited would be so cool and I would be so grateful for the opportunity and I would make sure to make the best out of it.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

On the field I will help anyone who needs help knowing what they need to be doing. I try to know how every position works and what they need to be doing so I can do my job better. I'm in a gm with my offensive and defensive line and I will study film and point out some stuff that we either need to work on or watch out for. I also try and be humble and not try and take over the team. Off the field I also help anyone who needs in. I excel in math and people will often come to me for help. Also when people doubt themselves in their athletic or academic ability I tell them they can do it as long as they try their hardest and put forth the work. I love the leadership role that being an athlete brings me.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I've always been taught school first, sports second. In school I try my hardest to do my best and get good grades because my mom pushes me to do that and I want to make her proud. I sometimes procrastinate but I try and always work hard in the classroom and turn in all my assignments and study for test. When it comes to sports my dad pushes me hard and I also want to make him proud. I try and work out every single day even though people sometimes ridicule me for it. I watch videos and read things that I think will make me better. This off season I realized I need to improve my pass rush so I've been working very hard to do that. All my years I've been taught how to keep contain and I've become better at that and better at stopping the run. Run stopping is my strong point but I don't want that to be my only strong point. That is why I'm working on my pass rush. I want to be the guy who a coach can put out there on any down and know I can do the job.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I don't do much community service due to time restraints from playing 2 sports. I do however try and be nice and respectful to everyone and talk to people who don't get talked to as much. I also help my neighbor who is not able to use his legs. I help him reach high stuff. Lift heavy boxes and take out the garbage. Also in the winter I shovel his driveway. Then in the summer I do a lot of hard work for him and his family. I do most of this for free. Service is so important to me and whenever I see service I can do for the community and for my friends and family. I jump right on it and rarely turn down the opportunity. I have always wanted to go on a humanitarian trip and help people who may be less fortunate than me. I love that kinda of stuff and love make people happier anyway I can.
