Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

Life has been difficult, I just started lacrosse and feel like its where I belong. Nobody else in my family has ever played lacrosse and thinks that nothing good will come from it. Its helping my grades by motivating me, Though it might be too late for that. but it also is an escape from reality. When I wake up all I can think about is practice and my teammates, It takes away the frustration and anger I have inside me. I forget about my broken family because I know at the end of the day I have brothers who are my family. Im not blaming my academics on my family situation. From this sport I've learned to take responsibility, I could have pushed hard and picked myself up. But no I let myself down, and stayed down, Now I am picking myself up.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

On and off the field, No matter what we are teammates not only that but brothers. We should have each others backs no matter what. We should never put another teammate down by telling people they suck or etc. I had to explain to teammates that we should never talk about one another in a disrespectful manner or single people out. Teammates that disrespect each other cause the team to be divided. A team that is divided can't play lacrosse because a team that is divided does not work together.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.
