Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I love the game and look forward to giving my all at the collegiate level. I'm looking forward to working together with a group of talented athletes and staff to earn wins for a school that is dripping in school spirit!

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I participate in my high school's Legacy Club which consists of varsity student athletes taking on leadership roles, co-ordinating group efforts, and participating in activities that give back to both our school and community.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

Hardwork. Commitment. Caring for my teammates, by delivering on our roles and supporting each other. Communication with both coaches and teachers.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

My immediate family has worked together to organize a program that provide safe harbor to children within our community. The program is called Helping Hands. It's purpose is to create safe places, located throughout the community, for children to seek refuge if they find themselves in a distressed situation while outside playing or on their way to or from school. We have rallied together our neighbors to determine who would be interested in volunteering, developed the concept and process, created a background check program to vet volunteers, created a sign that will be displayed on approved Helping Hands homes, and distributed materials and communicated the program to all residents to raise awareness. It feels great to take action to improve the quality of life and the safety for our neighborhood's children.
