Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I would like to be recruited to play sports in college to continue working in the sport I enjoy and being able to meet new people who enjoy the same sports as I.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

Off the field, I showed my leadership and initiative when I started the debate club. The reason I founded it was because I often heard my peers discussing their want for it.

On the field, I talk to my teammates and plan how we are going to play offensively and defensively.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

Currently, I am a volunteer at my local animal clinic. Prior to that, I volunteered at DOROT in NYC. There, I helped seniors with their technological problems. I value working at these places because, when I worked with the seniors, I got to give them company and even showed them how to do new things on their computers and phones. At the animal clinic, I am beginning to learn what it is like to become a veterinarian and this will help me decide how to plan my future.
