Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I want to play sports in college because sports have been a big part of my life for as long as I can remember and it's something I'm very passionate about. Sports have taught me how to compete, make new friends and lead. Since the beginning of my sports experiences in softball, basketball and volleyball I have many times played with people older than me, which I think has helped me in my competitive nature and my growth as an athlete and a person.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I am a recipient of the Christopher Harris Thomas Scholarship at my high school, which is granted to the student who exhibits leadership in their middle school and has a strong academic profile.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

Since my freshman year I have been a three sport varsity athlete (for volleyball, basketball, and softball), but academics always comes first.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I am a Senior in Girl Scouts and have obtained both my Bronze and Silver Awards, and I am currently pursuing my Gold Award. I am also a member of the youth choir at St. Mary's Parish and have been since fourth grade, and involved in Denville's Challenger Soccer and Baseball Programs, along with DAWNcil (both organizations work with mentally and physically challenged). These are important to me because it is a way to give back to my community while involving the things that I am passionate about.
