Other than enjoying wrestling and wanting to further my career, I believe playing sports in college will help provide a means to become a productive member of society, and to give myself and my family the best chance at a successful future.
I helped organize a Relay for Life team made up of members of my wrestling team. In order to do this, it took my reputation as a leader in the wrestling room and combined it with my ability to organize a group, in order for us to come together for a greater cause.
I maintain a well-balanced schedule between both the athletic and academic spheres of my life. I try to keep them separate in order to prevent any conflict between the two from arising. I put a large focus on my grades in order to help keep me eligible for my athletics.
I volunteer at the Wood Valley Boys and Girls Club of the Sun Coast. I also have helped raise money for a teammate who's family were victims of a house fire. I try to set a good example for my nieces and nephews as well as others who are around me.
