Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I have played competitive sports since I was 7. I have always dreamed of one day being a student/athlete at a collegiate level, and to feel the pride of representing a college and making a positive impact to the team.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

Soccer Referee/Coach for The High School Special Olympics 16/17:
Encouraging teens with disabilities to work towards something they never thought was possible for them, and then seeing the pride they have in reaching that goal is one of my proudest moments.

On the field, I do my best to always be a positive influence to my teammates. I am always the first one to give my teammates a high five or pat on the back when they do something good, whether it was executed or not. I truly believe that a positivity attitude is one of the key components to a successful team.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

Staying fit year round and eating right are extremely important to me. I do this by playing a variety of sports such as Soccer, Field Hockey and Lacrosse. Playing different sports helps to develop all aspects of my body, and I believe makes me a better all around athlete.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

Member of The Circle Of Friends: Being a mentor and friend to the special needs students at my high school in and out of school. Everyone deserves to be surrounded by friends and feel important and supported, regardless of disabilities.
