Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I have been playing sports all of my life, but soccer has always been my favorite. I want to make my parents proud while also being happy in what I am doing. Soccer has always been my passion, and I hope to take it to the next level of playing in college.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

On the field, I demonstrate leadership when my teammates need help in their positioning. My high school team has a lot of new players that never have played soccer before so I, as a captain, reach out to them and help them out with the little things that they don't know how to do yet such as shooting and chipping the ball. I show leadership off of the field in areas like school. If a classmate doesn't understand something the teacher was teaching us, I will help them to the best of my abilities so they can understand the topic too.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

Being a student athlete, you have to find that balance between school and sports. You have to be able to excel in your sport(s), but also be able to keep your grades up. I prioritize soccer and school very highly, so I am always trying my hardest to do the best that I can in both.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I'm the assistant soccer coach at the middle school I previously went to and go help out in my free time 4 times a week during season. Also I have been in the Be A Buddy Club for 3 years and helped with the Special Olympics every year.
