Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

College baseball has always been a dream of mine. I believe I have what it takes to play baseball at the next level. I posses both the mental and physical qualities to excel at the next level, whether it would be on the mound or the batters box. I've loved the game of baseball since my first experience with the game. I have a goal of playing this game for as long as I can.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

On the field, I lead by example. I play how I've been thought to play the game of baseball and hope people follow my example of playing the game the right way. I also bring extensive positive energy to any situation, over the past year and a half one of the areas of the game I focused working on is the ability to be a great teammate.

Off the field, I'm active in the community presenting help where it is needed. I volunteer at the local Cal Ripken fields here in Crown Point quite often, whether it would be umpiring, field maintenance, or helping coaches conduct practices or filling in as an occasional coach.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

As a student athlete, I am not only dedicated in everything I do on the field but also in the classroom. I have been blessed to have the opportunity to have coaches who stress grades over playing time. I strongly believe that if you do not have the grades, you do not play. That is why I put my best effort into every assignment, for grade or not.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.
