Water Polo Honors

Our team, Team Saskatchewan, won second at the National Canadian Championship League Finals. We finished first in the western conference in the National Championship League this season as well.

Water Polo Additional

I am a former competitive speed swimmer with the Regina Optimist Dolphins Swim Club. Although I swam competitively at a national level for many years, I only recently found my love for water polo and started training with the provincial team in October of 2016. I love the sport, and my experience in the water is helping me improve at a rapid pace.I take all advice my coaches give me very seriously and always apply them to practice. I will be competing at the Junior Olympics this summer, playing for the Utah Premier Water Polo Team.

Personal Highlights

I have been swimming competitively since I was nine years old. Though I swam with the Regina Optimist Dolphin Swim Club at a national level for many years, I have only recently found my love water polo in the last season. The work ethic I developed as a speed swimmer has helped me excel at water polo. I have only recently transitioned to water polo, but I decided right away to commit myself fully to competitive water polo with Team Saskatchewan. Although I have not been playing as long as my teammates I am improving very quickly and I am always excited to learn new ways to improve. I am incredibly teachable and can’t wait to apply my work ethic to your school’s training program. Since I was little I dreamed of competing for a college team, and my goal has always been to play in the NCAA. My strong work ethic, positive attitude, and my commitment will help me to overcome any obstacles in my way. I am a very hardworking and confident student-athlete. From being a competitive swimmer to a water polo player I have continued to train over 18 hours a week, for the last four years.
