I love field hockey and want to play after high school. I think that being part of a team is so important and I can't imagine not doing that in college. I feel grounded when I play field hockey and love being part of the field hockey family.
I am a goalie mentor to a U12 goalie. I attend some of her practices, and keep in touch with her by calling and texting her and try to give her as much support and advice as I can. I love being there for her and can't wait to see how she will grow into an amazing goalie as she moves up the club ladder!
I believe that along with a healthy body there is a healthy mind. I try to be positive and not sweat the small stuff. I keep myself active in sports all year long, with club/high school field hockey, spring lacrosse and house basketball which is so much fun! I enjoy conditioning with my coach over the summer and love going on long walks with my mother. I try to eat and cook healthy and allow occasional donuts or ice cream cones.
I plan on volunteering the 2018 summer and fall season with coaching field hockey for the elementary school level kids. I am currently researching various charities and will commit to one before the summer break.
