Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I want to be recruited to help pay for my education. Without scholarships and aid I will not be able to get a college degree.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I have been varsity football team captain 2 years and varsity basketball captain 1 year. One of my main responsibilities was keeping my teammates level headed in heated situations.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I pay close attention to my nutrition and follow safety procedures when working out. I also balance my time in the gym and on the field/track with hobbies and activities I enjoy outside of sports.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I assist with our volunteer fire departments annual fish fry and auction. I help set up, serve and clean up every year and have since I was in middle school. Helping with this is important to me because my father has been a member of the department for many years and it is an important aspect of our rural community.
