I always like to feel like I am a part of something greater than just going to school. I want to continue learning new dives and increasing the difficulty of the dives I am doing. By becoming a part of a team in college and working with others, I believe I could reach my goal to become the best diver of my ability.
By participating in my community throughout the clubs I am in. As a senior I plan to run for Senior Class president and an office roll in the other clubs I am in. I believe that by setting a good example for others is one of the greatest ways to be a successful leader.
I am a very busy high school student. I balance year round diving, a part time job, and school, with AP and college classes. Balance is a very important part of my life, simply because if I was not organized, then I am confident that I would not be able to balance all the different parts of my life successfully. By knowing my priorities for school and diving and by studying hard, it is possible for me to be an accomplished student-athlete, while keeping my grades up.
I participate in many clubs in my school and are involved in my community greatly through them and my youth group. I am a member of the National Honor Society. I participate in multiple clubs at my high school, such as Brutal Black (spirit club), HOPE club (Helping Other People Everywhere), and the Junior Civitans. Throughout everything I am involved in I have learned the importance of helping others and how the smallest acts of kindness can mean the world to others.
