Other Academic Information
The only ACT testing offered is for juniors and seniors. Right now I’m doing ACT practice online. I plan on taking the ACT at least twice a year until I graduate. However, I have taken the ACT offered by my middle school, it’s a prep test in two or three subjects a year I’ve taken for the last five years. I’m proud to say I’ve never tested below the 90th percentile. I usually test between the 95 to the 99th percentile. We aren’t given actual scores I can list but as soon as I’ve been tested I will update immediately. I also keep straight A’s and I’m taking all advanced/honors classes. I also take one pre-AP course. I want to assure all interested I take my academics and sports very seriously. Working hard is the only way I know that guarantees a successful future. Some may put all their energy in academics, others may put their focus in sports alone, which if that’s your plan everyone’s different and I wish you success. As for me I choose to give every option all I can. Like I said I’m going to play college volleyball and I’m going to give myself every single opportunity to make that happen. Any tips or need to know information on getting to college are greatly appreciated and thank you so much for your time. I know your time is extremely precious and I’m beyond grateful.

Personal Highlights

I was so excited to make Varsity as a freshman at Mortimer Jordan High School on both the Volleyball and Basketball teams. I set myself a goal to be a freshman on the Varsity Volleyball team and worked very hard in club ball as well as home to achieve my goal. I'm very proud to say that I was the only freshman to achieve such an honor. Even though my dearest friends were on another team I wanted to reach my goal more than I let myself be intimidated. I admit playing with a team with so much talent and only one or two teammates that would recognize me was scary but I wanted to reach my goal. I’m so glad I didn’t let any fear of not being accepted stop me from reaching my goal. We had a great season. We grew close and supported each other like all teams should. I loved being part of that team, not only were we the County Champions but we played at Regionals for the first time in 13 years. Every player had great talent and I’m so thankful to have been a part of that team. I also have a yearly membership to AAU.

Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

Great question for me. I played softball most of my life. I pitched and played first base. When My season ended I realized I wanted to try basketball and I was talented. I started volleyball in middle school and realized I loved it! My Dad was a star basketball player and my Mom was an amazing softball player, so I love that I found something I alone excelled at. I had to give up softball which disappointed my Mom but she knew I was better suited for volleyball. I still love and play basketball for my school, but I’m a volleyball player. It takes a lot to get noticed especially as a female volleyball player. I appreciate all the views, follows, and emails from every college coach. Thank you so much for your time.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I’ve received so much great advice from Southern Performance Volleyball Academy, my travel volleyball team. They make sure you practice hard, play hard, and give a great guide to follow to be the best player possible. It’s very detailed about what to eat, which foods to stay away from, and when’s the best time to hydrate. You have to be committed to keep up with these girls. With so much talent on one team you can’t play halfway. Our coaches teach us if you’re not willing to play 100% there’s another one that will. I also have my own workout I do at home. I’m going to play college volleyball whatever it takes.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.
