Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

It's important to be a leader wherever you go . The best examples that show I am a leader are when I took the mantle of captain this year for varsity and told the underclass that this would be our toughest year because we only have four returning seniors. I explained to them that we are going to see teams with much more talent than us but we won't meet a team with the same drive and determination that we have . I really wanted to inspire them and push them to be better so we can defy odds and show we are one of the top competitors around. Another time I demonstrated myself as a leader, my little cousin baseball coach couldn't make one of there important little league games. I stepped in to coach them that day. The kids where unfamiliar with me but knew me well enough to let me be part of that special day. It was a championship game that the other team only had to win one game but our team had to win two. We started as the lower seed and worked our way up, all the kids wanted me to lead them to their first trophy and we did we won both games. It felt so good to lead them I felt like I impacted them just a bit to let them shine in front of family and friends.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

Every thanksgiving we go out as a family to give homeless people food. We try to give them everything that they would experience at the dinner table. From the stuffing to dessert we load up multiple plates for homeless people.
