Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I am very passionate about rowing and I would love to continue to grow as a rower. I would love to row in college and beyond that because it keeps me in shape and helps me exercise my team working skills.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

Over the summer, I encouraged my teammates to work out over the summer to stay fit to become faster on the water and the erg. Off the water, I lead at school by taking part in environmental movements conducted by the school and our local environmental club.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I row in the spring for my high school, but over the summer and the fall I row for my local club team. The gaps between the seasons and for the winter, I spend my time in the weight room, erging and running.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.
