Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I love the game of soccer and want to be able to continue to play the game beyond high school!

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

In order to play with my club team I had to travel 2 hours one way to training two times per week. Training sessions were on back to back nights. I did this for approximately 7 months and I rarely missed a training session. I only missed 1 game out of 32 games played during our season and maintained a 4.0 GPA in the honors program in spite of the amount of time spent traveling during the school year.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

In addition to the time spent in soccer training and practices I have a personal trainer that I work with once a week to maintain my core strength. In addition, I pay attention to what I eat and I make sure I get 8 hours of sleep every night.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I am a proud member of the Penobscot Indian Nation and I have volunteered for 3 consecutive years at the Penobscot Nation Whitewater National Regatta. In addition, I volunteer with the Hungry Children Backpack program which provides food for hungry children in my community.
