Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I want to get into a school which appreciates me for my athletic ability. I want to get a full ride scholarship through athletics.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I was team captain for my XC team and track teams. I have served as president of some of the clubs i have participated in.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I plan to eat healthy and exercise twice daily. I wont take drugs or smoke and just rely on my ability to perform instead of using performance enhancing drugs or steroids.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I am in National honors society which requires at least 40 hours of service. I have over double the amount of necessary hours due to volunteer work.
