Baseball Additional

I was clocked at PBR event at Cambell University in 2018 throwing 91 mph across infield. I am known for my hitting as well as my play at MIF and at baserunning. I have also been a good catcher, outfielder and pitcher so I have tools that can play anywhere.

As a Sophmore in 2017, I threw 88 mph twice from OF and 87 from IF.

I ran a 6.84 at Pro5 Pro Day 3/1/2019 and I’ve been clocked many times at 6.9 in the 60 in 2018 by my strength and conditioning trainer Diamondfit Speed Trainer Travis Lindhorst.

I was clocked with an 87 mph in game Exit Velo at 2018 PG WWBA Nationals, 88 mph off of front toss at Baseball Rebellion in Durham, NC and at 84 mph exit Velo off a tee at Pro5 Pro on Day 3/1/19.

Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

Playing college baseball is my dream. Baseball is my life. I’ve grown up with most of my friends playing baseball. I’ve always been good at it and have been good at it playing against the best competition.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I told my coach this week that I could help out with catching to help the team. I normally start in the MIF but our catchers have been allowing a lot of passed balls and costing us runs and games. My coach said that was big of me.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I eat healthy and work out every day including 2-3 times a week at Diamondfit on Baseball related weightlifting program designed by Drew Anderson who played with the Tampa Bay Rays. We stretch beforehand and do a lot of deadlifts, squats and band work to develop explosiveness. I also have a regular arm care program using band and weighted balls that I started recently and it is supposed to help with velocity. I was up to 87 last fall with no pain at the Evoshield Canes Camp after doing it only a couple of times last fall. I was clocked at 89 this summer. I work on strengthening my glutes to take stress off of hamstrings when I lift and run.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I’ve helped out with my church with community service events. You feel good being apart of a group that is helping people.
