Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I want to be recruited to wrestle in college because I love wrestling and nothing would mean more to me than being able to continue with the sport I love.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I was selected as a captain during the 2016/2017 wrestling season. This season my peers and coaches have selected me to be a team captain again.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I try to maintain a healthy athletic performance by managing my time which is a big part of being a student-athlete. Time is something I never seem have enough of. I have my priorities set straight and know how to decide what is best for me. When I find myself facing a difficult choice or situation I always weigh my options and if I need to, consult my parents.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I have been a Junior Umpire for Sunset Little League for the past few years, umpiring baseball and softball games. I am a part of Key Club, which is a community service club, at my High School. The past few years I have helped hand out Thanksgiving dinner to those who cannot afford to buy it themselves with a local church. I enjoy helping people, whether watching children play baseball or giving to those in need. I love to see positive change in our society and the world.
