Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I love playing field hockey and I think being part of a team in college is a good way to meet new people, manage my time better and stay in shape.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

On the field I try to be a good leader by being supportive of my teammates, especially the freshmen as they make the transition to high school hockey. Off the field, I try to excel in the classroom and I am also a member of Student Council and my Sophomore Class Vice-President.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I try to watch what I eat and stay in the best shape I can by playing sports in all seasons.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I have helped with the local food cupboard and have helped with filling weekend snack bags for students who may not have enough to eat when they aren't in school.
