Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I strongly desire to throw discus in college because I am genuinely passionate about the event and am self-motivated to better my strength and technique. Throughout my athletic career I have had several experienced, dedicated, and supportive coaches that have and continue to motivate me to be the best athlete I can be.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I play an active part in leadership roles both on and off the field because I am a varsity athlete in cross country, basketball, and spring track and class council president for the Egg Harbor Township class of 2021.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student athlete by keeping a healthy balanced diet, getting 7-9 hours of sleep every night, and never using any type of performance enhancing drugs.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I give back to my community by volunteering for the Absecon Field of Dreams Organization, which gives children with special needs the opportunity to play baseball. I love volunteering in this event to develop friendships with the disabled children that are more shy and helping them to come out of their shell and guiding them throughout the event. The smiles on their faces when they step on home plate make it all worth while.
