Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I want to play a sport in college because I feel that I focus better on my academics if I am participating in competitive sports. It will make me a hard worker on and off the playing grounds.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I sang the National Anthem in front of over 20,000 spectators at the Minnesota USA Volleyball tournament and over 20,000 spectators at the Show Me Qualifier in Kansas City, Missouri. I have volunteered with the local animal shelter, senior citizen thanksgiving lunch, late night for hunger, and children small mall for the past three years.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.
