Golf fitness coach Brian Lee, TPI, DPT (former fitness coach Stephanie Overbaugh, TPI, MSPT). I have competed in Southern California's most competitive tour, the Toyota Tour Cup since middle grade. Played a few AJGA tournaments. I have competed in US Kids Regionals (won twice, California State Championship and the Palm Springs Regionals), FCG Callaway World Junior Golf (22nd), Veritas World Junior Golf (2nd) , World Stars of Junior Golf (formerly Taylormade world championship) and LA County Junior Golf Champion. I played my first USGA tournament while in middle school competing in the Women's Fourball. I have competed also in the USGA qualifiers for US Womens, US Girls. This year I scored a 74 in the USGA US Womens Amateurs Fourball qualifer in San Diego and 74 in the USGA US Girls Amateurs in Las Vegas. I was second in Skills competition on the Junior Golf Combine and 1st in stroke play for the College Golf Camp Ivy League (California) recently. I am a 4 sport athlete, but if I am going to play ONLY golf for college, I have no doubt I can be far better than I am today and can hold my own among the best players. I was just selected to AJGA Transamerica Scholastic Honor Roll. Earned AJGA exempt status with a final day score of 66 in Canada against AJGA and CJGA. Signed National Letter of Intent with Quinnipiac University.

Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I am going to play collegiate golf for a Division 1 program that offered me a four year scholarship. I love the team camaraderie of pushing each other to be better everyday. I intend to be a pediatric nurse practitioner, and not paying for the undergraduate portion of my education makes it easier financially.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I am team captain for golf (3 years) and basketball (1 year). I will be in ASB for my senior year. I was team leader/lead engineer for the school's hydrogen powered car competitions that competed regionally. I am also photo editor for the yearbook.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I have team practice every school day because of varsity practice for golf, basketball and softball. From middle grade, I have worked with a golf fitness instructor.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I have always done community service since middle school. I have worked as a volunteer coach at First Tee of Orange County. I've worked in food banks serving the homeless, worked with kids in my school to do school backpack supplies for children in India, and gather stuffed toys for kids in Vietnam. I have been one of two students chosen from my school, to be among the summer volunteers for Camp Cornelia. We will be teaching indigent fourth graders in New York City.
