Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I want to be a team member in college because, I love the feel of working competitively with a group of girls that I've trained with. No matter the results, I have enjoyed getting out everyday with my team and learning to be better and better each day. I want to continue to improve my rowing stroke in college.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

Since I don't get home until 7:00pm every night after practice, I always make sure to stay on top of my school work. My planner is always up to date and I make sure to stay very organized in order to not miss anything. In order to perform well in both school and rowing, it is a struggle, but I've learned that I do better in both when I am busier.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I am part of my school's Key Club. I enjoy spending my time on the weekends doing community service for many local events and people in need. This is important to me because I don't want to be enclosed in a privileged life, instead I want to open myself up to opportunities around the area.
