Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?
-
Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

Since I was on J.V. my junior year the majority of the girls on the team and my opponents were younger that I. I was playing with many girls that had started golfing as little as a month before the season started. I always acted with sportsmanship and often found myself explaining rules or clarifying certain terms like lateral hazzard. I would give my teammates advice on how to deal with certain situations they were encountering and would give them rides to and from the course.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.
-
Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

Over the past four summers I have volunteered as a camp counselor for 82nd Street Theater. They provide free summer camps to benefit the children of our area. As a camp counselor my duties included actively monitoring and teaching between ten and twenty children. I have spent approximately fifty-two hours giving back to the community.
