Personal Highlights

I enjoy the sport of basketball as it allows me to demonstrate my athleticism, as well as allow me to sharpen my mental skills. With the position of point guard, I have the opportunity to lead a group of young women during the game, as well as broaden my skills in my offense and defense. I believe that I have the qualities to be a great leader, whether it be through verbal guidance and support for my teammates, or, from showing, through my offensive and defensive abilities, the possibilities of being successful. I enjoy taking on challenges, and stepping to the forefront to overcome obstacles. I truly believe that my desire and work ethic, as well as my being a very coachable athlete, will allow myself to thrive in any system. I want to grow and thrive with a program, and help those around share in the same successes and failures as a family. Given the opportunity to increase my abilities and skills, I believe that I will be able to take on any challenge, and not just overcome it, but retain what I have learned to overcome this challenge. Any coach, team, or organization, I honestly believe, will greatly be amazed at what I am able to offer in return for the opportunity. What I have to offer is not just someone who can score or play defense, but rather someone who also has the constant hustle, the heart, and the desire to be an all-around female basketball athlete, as well as a positive role-model for younger female athletes who want to develop the same drive and desire that I demonstrate both on and off the basketball court.
