I want to be able to continue playing the sport I love at the highest level possible. To be able to play softball at the collegiate level will be a fulfillment of a childhood dream.
On the field, I take control of the infield. I am aware of the players, base runners & number of outs. I communicate that information to my teammates both in the infield and outfield.
Off the field, I am a leader in the classroom. I generate discussions in class as well as take the lead on many group projects in class. I was nominated by my fellow students and served on the Principal's Advisory Council at Halls Middle School for my 6th grade year. The council allowed me to be a voice to the administration for the entire 6th grade class.
I pursue a healthy athletic performance by eating right, working hard on my skills (hitting & fielding), and getting a good night rest before games.
I am actively involved with my church youth group. I also help coach my younger sisters (6u & 10u) and their teammates in how to field the ball better, run the bases better as well as be a better hitter.
