Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I want to be recruited because I love competing, being physically active, meeting new people, and just playing volleyball. Playing college ball would really show me responsibility also.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I definitely pick people up when they’re down on the court, and was team captain for my school team. Off the court I love to tutor kids, and try to get involved in a lot of things at my school. I think I show leadership by being a responsible student as well. I set a lot of precedence for my siblings, so I see that as leadership in helping them also become successful.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I try to eat well and I always put effort into everything. I also make sure that I’m not missing out on any schoolwork, so I usually get that done first thing, so I can focus on athletics.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I am in National Junior Honor Society, and we do a lot of community service. I help tutor younger kids, pick up trash around the community, volunteer at Least of These at times, and am looking forward for more opportunities. Community service is vital because it really does bring people together, and to help our community thrive.
