2017 & 2018 Coach's Award
Not just saying it because he is my son but he is a very good boy. He thinks about helping others that are less fortunate. He volunteers his time to help others. He does well in school. No problems. He loves the Lord and his family. Finally, he loves basketball with a passion and is very coachable. For two consecutive years, he recieved the coach's award in basketball. In June 2019, he will be a graduate from the Western Assembly Christian Youth Fellowship summer camp which has a four year curriculum. He played AAU basketball for 3 years. The first year with BTB basketball team coached by Keith Peten and two years with Team Wall Big East, coached by Claude Waters and Tavon Murchison.
I want to follow in my parents footsteps and graduate from a four year university and play basketball on scholarship.
As a eighth grader I was a leader on the court as a starter at point guard on the junior varsity basketball team. Off the court, I am a junior usher at my church and a member of our junior choir.
I am serious about my work ethic on and off the court. I work out daily working on my basketball skills.
I volunteer at the food pantry every year around Thanksgiving. Also I perform community service by volunteering my time by cutting grass and keeping our church bus washed.
