2017 - Offensive MVP - Apex Highschool JV summer team
2018 Playing for the TPA Nationals 2021 Showcase Team (January - July)
I simply enjoy competing. It has been a part of my life since I can remember. I enjoy the feeling of accomplishment I get when I give everything I have and the team comes out with a win. I also enjoy the sense of determination I get when I know I must push harder to revenge a defeat. I just love to compete and can’t imagine living life with out competing against the best and coming out victorious.
I try to be a leader on the field, in the classroom and in the community. On the field I try to lead by example and vocally when needed. I try to be the hardest worker on the field and challenge others to join me. I believe my approach has been recognized by other players and coaches as I was named captain of our football team in both 7th and 8th grade. I was also named as captain of the USA U15 Football Team that I played on in January 2018.
In school I am a leader by showing respect to my teachers and other administrators. I also encourage others to do the same. I also try to be a leader by standing up for students that are being overlooked or bullied by others.
Finally I try to be a leader in the community. To me this means constiantly setting an example for others and always doing the right thing.
I have recently begun volunteering with the Special Olympics and the Miracle League. While I am still new with both organizations it has been amazing to see the joy and passion some of these athletes have for the games they play and life in general. It certainly is a rewarding opportunity that I would highly recommend to everyone.
