PG and Shooting Guard..
Currently, I am averaging 17+ ppg, 1.5 steals, 1 block,3 rebounds, and around 3 assist per game. I have been playing varsity since I was was a freshmen and travel ball since the 6th grade. I was an impact player coming off the bench my first two seasons. During my Sophomore season I came off the bench as the "6th man" to provide a spark and helped lead the team to its best record in school history, which was 7 more wins than any previous team. I was named 6th man of the year, during that season. I began my Junior year as starter, averaging 12+ ppg, 1.1 steals, 5.5 assist, and 1 bpg. I shot over 90% from the free throw line, just under 50% from the field, and under 45% from 3.
The 2017 spring/summer of Travel ball I averaged more than 20 ppg, 2 steals, 5 assist, 1 block and 4 rebounds, as we made it to the 2017 TN AAU girls final four in the state championship and some key victories during The Run for the Roses, in Louisville, KY.
As a player I am very coach-able, have excellent court vision and knowledge of the game. Although, I am right handed I dribble mostly with my left, so I am well with both hands. I play good defense (room for improvement), I can score and create on my own as well as make a great pass as I set my team mates up. I am a threat inside and out, and a hard worker. I have a great attitude and I am a unselfish player.
While having good basketball statistics at Kenwood High, I have maintained a GPA of 3.8. I have attended a Youth Leadership Conference in Washington DC and I a member of National Honor Society. I scored a 23 on her ACT. I am focused on improving my game, while being dedicated to working hard to be a better player and student.
Ra'Mya wears Jersey # 3 on Kenwood High School. The fans chant the nick name of "Rainy Ra'Mya" when she makes free throws and jump shots.
