I currently play for Bevolley Academy in Saint Petersburg Florida on the 18U team. I have played at Pinellas Heat and Rogue Volleyball in my past club seasons. I played as the Varsity libero for Admiral Farragut Academy's 2017 season and I have also run Track and Field and played Soccer for my school since 2014. I have been playing volleyball since 2013 and I plan to continue my beach or indoor career into college. I also play beach volleyball for Bevolley Academy and Ohana Beach Volleyball. I play in the Sunshine State Outdoor Volleyball Association summer and fall tournaments as well as Volley America tournaments.
I would like to be recruited to play volleyball in college because I think it provides an alternate college experience that only student athletes can receive. Beach volleyball as well as indoor have been a large part of my life since the age of 10 and continue to help build confidence and friendships in my life.
Leadership is a large part of volleyball, seeing that it is a team sport. Not only do I hold myself responsible for making sure my team is thinking positive on the court, but off the court as well. As a team captain for Admiral Farrgut for 3 seasons I have formed trust and bonds with my fellow players and coaches. In the NJROTC program at Admiral Farragut, I also participate in the marching band, NJHS, SNHJS, and Naval science. I plan to have a position in the Regimental staff in my future at AFA.
Being a student Athlete at any level is challenging. I strive to balance my academics with club and school volleyball. My goal is to graduate as Valedictorian or Salutatorian in the AFA class of 2021. I currently maintain a 4.36 weighted GPA, taking all honors classes excluding the required Naval Science and elective for freshman at AFA.
Participating in community service is very important to as an athlete, as I feel that I am responsible to make an impact on lives around me. In NJHS our school has conducted many food and toy drives for children in need. We have made various visits to the Ronald McDonald house in Downtown St. Petersburg to donate as well. In SNHS, we collect money to donate to UNICEF through various school fundraisers and events. It is an honor to be selected to participate in these clubs.
