Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

My grandfather introduced me to the game of golf at the age of 6. He purchased me my first set of clubs. At first I used them in the backyard. As I grew a little older he took me out on the golf course and gradually I got better and started to shoot lower scores than him. I know I have made him proud. I have such a passion for the game of golf and get out on the course as often as I can. It does help working at the Painesville Country Club in the Spring and Summer months. I continue to strive to get better each time I am out on the course with the help of professionals and my golf coach. Golf means everything to me, I know in my upcoming senior year my scores will improve with extra lessons and experiencing different courses in the NCJT tournaments.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

Although I have not been a team captain throughout my high schools years playing golf on a team. I feel I have very strong leadership skills. I carry myself well on and off the golf course. I have helped my teammates in many ways. If a teammate has a bad round I will make it a point to tell them great job hoping to bring their spirits back up and mind into the game, reminding them that everyday may not always be a good day. As we begin this season with all the incoming freshman trying out for our JV team I asked my coach if I could set up 2 tee times and invite some of them to practice. I enjoyed going back and forth between both groups and helping them work on their swings and other various things.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I eat well and in the off season I keep very active playing winter sports such as PCYB (a recreational youth team) basketball to keep in shape. I also enjoy snowboarding.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I have not done any community service but I was involved in my school helping with the special needs children. I was currently chosen to be a camp counselor in May ,2018 for our 6th graders and am very hopeful I will get chosen again in the upcoming senior year.
