Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I want to swim in college so that I can further pursue my interest and love for the sport of swimming.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

On the playing field, for example at swim meets, if somebody had a really bad race I would always cheer them up so that they can have a better race at the next swim meet. An example of me being a leader off of the field would be at school or at home, in these environments I would always try to push people to be there best selves.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I pursue a healthy athletic performance by having a balanced lifestyle, which is essential in my daily life. I always get between at least 8 hours of sleep on school nights, I eat healthily and well, and I go to every practice possible.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I am involved in service in my community by teaching kids how to swim through a program run by my swim team. I have been an instructor for just one summer, and I just love it. Helping kids with a life saving skill is so important to me, and the community, so as to make sure that the next generation come to be even greater swimmers than the last.
